Personal Profile

Geospatial Data & Technology Leader

profile

I am an award-winning geospatial data geek, builder, and innovator. I am passionate about creating digital solutions to solve real-world problems using open-source software, open standards, and open data. In my career, I have helped engineering teams implement software development best practices, supported product teams deliver turnkey solutions, and worked with sales and marketing teams to showcase products by giving presentations and writing blog posts.

At the moment, I am a senior developer advocate on the Amazon Location Service team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). I strive to inspire developers by showing them how Amazon Location Service (and AWS) can solve real-world problems, educate them by telling them what to build and how to build it, enable them by helping them choose the right tool for the job, and engage with them to gather feedback.
